Mr. Fulkant Jha, President NamasteRus Foundation

Prime Minister Modi once said that when Indians think of Russia, the first word that comes to mind is trusted friend. From the very beginning of independent India, Russia has stood by us like a rock; in Kashmir, the Goa Liberation, the creation of Bangladesh, and countless global challenges. Russia has supported India at the United Nations with six vetoes, and with its help, India built steel plants, IIT Bombay, nuclear power stations, and even advanced in space missions.

Over the decades, governments, systems, and ideologies have changed, but the respect, love, and mutual trust between the people of India and Russia remain unchanged. Unlike many nations, India and Russia have never blamed each other for hardships; our friendship has always been unconditional, based on cooperation and mutual care.

Today, both countries share values of peace, non-aggression, and readiness to help one another. We work together in organizations like BRICS, SCO, and the G20, always respecting each other’s interests.

A strong India–Russia relationship is essential for global stability. As India rises as a global power, cooperation with Russia will remain vital. NamasteRus Foundation is committed to carrying forward this legacy; celebrating friendship, strengthening bonds, and building bridges between our two great nations
